The Center Project

Koinonia Education Centre is currently housed in a rented church hall at Red Hill Limuru, which is a distance of 23 kilometers from the children’s Kibagare slum village. The children are transported by bus to and from school daily.

The current premises is limited in terms of:

• lack of space for increased student numbers and educational enhancements e.g. laboratories for the upper classes
• Increase in the rental fees
• Inadequate space for sports and boarding facilities

It is imperative that the Centre relocates to allow for this expansion.

Recently we acquired a 10 acre plot of land near Mai Mahiu along Naivasha Road, we would like to start developing basic school facilities. These include 8 classrooms, Kitchen, 2 dormitories for boys and girls and an administration block.
