Koinonia Education Centre
Koinonia Education Centre is a Christian Non-Governmental Organization that was started in January 2003 initially to cater for needy children from Kibagare slums. We relocated to Maai Mahiu and the school is also open to self-sponsored children.
Our Objective
Our objective is to provide high quality education which in addition to academic excellence will also ensure the social, moral and spiritual development of the learners. In addition, we also impart the learners with relevant skills which prepare them to serve God and transform the society.
Our Style
Our teaching style allows children to enjoy school, develop character and explore their full potential. This system is adequate to cater for individual students’ needs due to the limited number of children per class, adequate facilities and professionally trained teachers and support system.
